Stephen Elwood Hall - Class Of 1969

Stephen E. Hall, 62, of Palmyra, died on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at his home. Born in Charlottesville, on October 15, 1950, he was the son of Kathryn Rittenhouse Hall of Charlottesville, and the late George Elwood Hall. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Buzz Curry.

Steve was a graduate of Albemarle High School and was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served in Vietnam. He attended Colonial Baptist Church and loved nature and the outdoors. He was a 30 year employee of AmeriGas and was a dedicated family man who loved his wife, sons and family.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Terry Robertson Hall; two sons, Carter Hall and Will Hall; three sisters, Janet Curry, Susan Satterfield and her husband, Dwayne, and Sara Hall; one brother, George Hall and Mary Lou Malesiewski; his mother-in-law, Joan McInturff; five nephews; and one niece.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, May 10, 2013, at Holly Memorial Gardens with Pastor Edwin Leake officiating.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Thursday, May 9, 2013, at Teague Funeral Home.
