Roy Franklin Yowell Jr., 64, of Gordonsville, died Sunday, November 23, 2014.  Born February 8, 1950 in Gordonsville, he was a son of the late Roy Franklin Yowell Sr. and Helen June Donald Yowell.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Michael Yowell.

Mr. Yowell was retired from Centel Telephone Company.

He is survived by one son, Robbie Yowell and fiance, Dawn Fitzgerald, of Charlottesville; one sister, Patsy Stobie and husband, Allan, of Palm Harbour, Florida; four grandchildren, Hailey, Hayden, Rayanna and Kylie Yowell.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Orange, with interment to follow in Graham Cemetery.
