Mrs. Joann Dickerson Dunnivan died Friday, Feb. 8, 1974, at University of Virginia Hospital. She was 23.

Born in Albemarle County on April 25, 1950, she was the daughter of Robert Dickerson and the late Mrs. Helen Wells Midgett Dickerson of Charlottesville.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Donald Miller Dunnivan of Batesville, one son, Mark Wayne Dickerson of Batesville, three stepsons, Donald M. Dunnivan, Jr. of Batesville, Butch Allen Dunnivan of Waynesboro and Billy Jo Dunnivan of Waynesboro.

Also surviving are one stepdaughter, Michelle Lucille Dunnivan of Waynesboro, one brother, Kenneth Dickerson of Richmond, and three sisters:  Miss Wanda Dickerson, Mrs. Judy Drumheller, and Miss Judy Mae Dickerson, all of Charlottesville.

She was a member of the Crozet Baptist Church.

Funeral services for Mrs. Joann Dickerson Dunnivan, a Batesville housewife, will be held 2 p.m. Monday at Mount Ed Baptist Church, Batesville, VA. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Sunday at Hawkins Funeral Home.
