Samuel Patteson Clarke (1966)
Barbara Carroll Critzer Woody, formerly of Nashville, Tennessee, died July 21, 2006 at her home in Marietta, Georgia, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She served the Presbyterian Church (USA) as an elder, as a staff associate for the General Assembly Mission Board, as an Associate Executive at the Synod of Living Waters, and most recently as a lay pastor in Western Kentucky Presbytery at Trenton Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by two children, Michael C. Woody of Nashville, Tennessee and Heather W. McGill (David) of Marietta, Georgia, and by two grandchildren, Connor and Courtney McGill of Marietta, Georgia.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2006, at South Plains Presbyterian Church in Keswick, Virginia with the Rev. John Thompson, the Rev. David Garth, and the Rev. Marvin Simmers officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
A Celebration of Her Life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 29, 2006, at Hillside Presbyterian Church in Decatur, Georgia.
