Carla Pace Worley, 62, of Shenandoah, died Thursday, September 17, 2009, at the Winchester Medical Center.

She was born October 27, 1946, in Charlottesville, she was the daughter of Juanita V. Pace and the late Hamilton W. Pace.

She is survived by her husband, Francis of Shenandoah; her children, Lewis of Palmyra, and Scott and his wife, Christine, of Fredericksburg, James and his wife, Dawn, of Palmyra, Angela Ash and her husband, James, of Shenandoah, and Jennifer of Shenandoah; a sister, Peggy Pace Kidd; and a brother, Robert Pace; nine grandchildren, Christopher Shreve, Jeffrey Shreve, Matthew, Jonathan Ryan, Billy Ash , Tristian, Alyssa, Abigail, and Joshua.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 22, 2009, at the Hill and Wood Chapel with Mr. Glen Gentry officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Monday, September 21, 2009, at the funeral home.
