Osborne Lee Huff - Class Of 1964


 
Photo Lee Huff, 60, of Troy, died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2005, in his residence.

Born Sept. 24, 1945, in Oakton, Va., he was the son of Arlene Wood Huff of Earlysville, and the late Osborne Thomas Huff Jr. He was also preceded in death by three sisters.

In addition to his mother, Lee is survived by his wife, Joyce S. Huff of Troy; two sons, Montie C. Mawyer and Brian K. Shifflett, both of Troy; two grandchildren, Kenneth Lee Mawyer and Shelley D. Shifflett; one brother, C.T. Huff, of Earlysville; and a brother-in-law, Tommy L. Shackelford of Richmond.

Lee was employed for over 40 years with the Highway Department, with the last 10 years as a superintendent at Yancey Mills. He was a member of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church and was a United States Army veteran. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose (Charlottesville Lodge 1028), where he held a Degree of Fellowship and held every chair on the Board of Officers.

A graveside funeral service with Moose rites will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2005, in Monticello Memory Gardens with the Rev. Andrea Jones officiating

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2005, at Hill & Wood Funeral Home.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Loyal Order of Moose, 3756 Richmond Road, Keswick, VA 22947.
