Bobby Wilson Coleman - Class Of 1964

 
Photo Bobby Wilson Coleman, 60, of Troy, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 23, 2006, at his residence with his family by his side.

Born November 21, 1945, in Albemarle County, he was the son of the late James D. and Daisy Mae Shiflett Coleman. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Coleman.

Bobby was a selfemployed contractor for over 30 years.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Coleman; a daughter, Laura Early and her husband, Diron, of Palmyra; a son, Shawn Coleman and his wife, Tina, of Troy; six grandchildren, Austin Early, Braeden Early, Collin Coleman, Tyler Coleman, Katie Morgan, and Austin Morgan; a stepson, Jamie Morris of Troy; a stepdaughter, Melissa Dodson of Charlottesville; two sisters, Lillie Morris and her husband, Dewey, of Charlottesville and Susie, Payne and her husband Charles, of Charlottesville; a good friend and the mother of his children, Donna Coleman of Palmyra; and his precious babies, Pebbles and April.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, August 26, 2006, at the Hill and Wood Chapel with Pastor Buster Payne officiating.

Interment will follow in Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:30 until 8 p.m. Friday, August 25, 2006.

The family expresses a heartfelt thanks to Linda Allen, with the Hospice of the Piedmont for her caring and compassion, during this difficult time.
