Brenda Kaye Shiflet, 72, of Stanardsville, VA went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 22, 2018 at her sister’s residence. She was born on June 16, 1945 in Charlottesville, VA to the late Jesse and Dorothy Shifflett.

She is survived by her devoted sister, Louise Morris and her husband, Warren; nephews, Dwayne, W.J., and James Morris, Craig Shifflett and a special nephew, Timothy Shifflett; niece, Rebecca Layne; and numerous great nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Shifflett and a great nephew, Andrew Morris.

A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Holly Memorial Gardens with Pastor Ronald Sipe officiating.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Brenda’s great niece, April Davis for her love and affection; her wonderful caretakers, Lorraine Lewis, and Shelby Laird and the Hospice of the Piedmont for their loving care during her illness.
