Anne Teresa Liady (Lynch) (1960)

Fred Gardner Liady, III (he preferred Fred Liady, III). My brother was one-of-a-kind. He was a redhead. Later in life, his hair turned gray, but it was always curly and he cared little about his grooming. My brother was a genius. Everyone who knew him understood his intellect, particularly for mechanical devices. He could invent them, manufacture them and use them. At his funeral, one of the guests offered a story about Fred to do with a particularly unusual device. The individual was actually trying to catch Fred, but that was not to be the case. He knew all about it, how it was made, how it worked, etc. Fred married later in life at the age of 48 and therefore had no descendants. He dearly loved his wife Dee and his 3 stepchildren. The stepchildren thrived due to his love and he helped them overcome the distressing issues of the previous divorce. He owned his own business, with a partner, in Roanoke. It was a picture-framing business called Roanoke Moulding Design. He and his partner eventually sold the business in about 2007.
