James Thomas Faulconer

James Thomas Faulconer, 74, of Charlottesville, died peacefully at home on May 6, 2018.

He was the son of James C. and Bonnie Draper Faulconer of Stoney Point.

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Lois Carter Faulconer; step-son, Danny Carter; sisters, Betty Horne of Petersburg and Peggy Kerns of Fredericksburg; and a close cousin, Margaret Proffitt of Charlottesville.

Tommy was a graduate of Albemarle High School and retired from merchants Automotive. He enjoyed NASCAR racing and was a Richard Petty fan. He enjoyed helping folks making small repairs and was always on the lookout for folks who needed help. He was an active member of First Christian Church serving as a Sunday School teacher and ready to serve anywhere needed.

The family wishes to thank friends, neighbors and caregivers from Open Arms & Helping Hands for their love and support.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 16, 2018, at 11 a.m., with lunch to follow at First Christian Church, 3285 Keswick Rd., Keswick, VA 22947. Donations may be made to First Christian Church, 3285 Keswick Rd., Keswick, VA 22947.
