Glennis M. Pace, formerly of Albemarle, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 16, 2017.

Glennis was preceded in death by her parents, John P. Morris and Lucy F. Morris of Stanardsville, Va.; daughter, Sarah Frances; brother, Sylvester Morris; and sister, Elizabeth Brown.

Glennis is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Robert L. Pace Sr.; her sons, Robert L. Pace Jr and his wife, Nancy G. Pace of Louisa and Jon A. Pace and his wife, Kathryn V. Pace of Charlottesville;six grandchildren, Jason A. Pace and his wife, Carrie, Ashleigh P. Morris and husband, Ricky, Lindsey M. Pace and partner, Derek, Karry M. White and husband, Jonathan, Jonathan M. Pace and wife, Hannah Jo, and Justin R. McFarland. Also,three great-grandchildren, SaraBeth P. Morris, Tripp L. Morris, and McKinley M. Pace.

Glennis was a longtime employee of Cooper Industries of Earlysville, Va.She loved sewing, gardening, camping and square dancing, but was known for her famous home cooking.

Glennis will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at 11 a.m., at Monticello Memory Gardens in Charlottesville.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 19, 2017, from 6 until 8 p.m., at Teague Funeral Home in Charottesville.
