Charles "Connie" Crenshaw (1958)
We are going to miss this 1958 graduate who gave the impression of being a little tough and rough on the outside but was soft on the inside. John played tackle on the Championship AHS undefeated football team. Playing on the line, he was a hard hitter. In practice, I always thought he could tackle my 145 pound body a little easier. The harder John hit you, the wider the grin or smile.
It was a pleasure being in the same class and graduating together. I am now so happy you were able to attend our class reunion. I am sure you and Myrle will be forming your own football team.
Wishing the best to your family. They say that the children you leave behind to carry on are the largest contribution you can make in life.
