Ann Rosalie Page (McClung) - Class Of 1958

Ann Rosalie Page McClung peacefully passed away Sunday January 6, 2019, at her family home of three generations, Pagebrook Farm, surrounded by her family and friends. Ms. McClung was well known throughout Charlottesville as a farmer, a businesswoman, avid gardener and involved citizen. She was an inspiration to many with her can-do spirit.

Born April 28, 1940, to Mary Louise Moomaw Page and William Garrett Page, Ms. McClung graduated from Albemarle High School in 1958. She attended Mary Washington College and Jefferson School of Commerce.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands, Arthur Shoffstall and Malcolm McClung.

Ms. McClung is survived by daughter, Lillian Shoffstall Tyler; son-in-law Carl Jewell Tyler, Jr.; granddaughters, Brooke Page Tyler and Morgan Lindsay Tyler; great-grandson, Hayzin Ivory Tyler; stepdaughters, Sharon Vaughan, husband Eric and son, Karen Hughes and children; as well as foster granddaughter, Kelly Nash and children. She is also survived by her sister, Murrell Page Wilson; niece Christine Roberts; and nephew, Gary Ring.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. at Mooreland Baptist Church, Sunday January 13, 2019, 2255 Taylors Gap Road, North Garden, Va.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Mooreland Baptist Church.
