William Howard Raines (1955)

I am saddened by the news that one of my high school friends passed. We were all thrown together at AHS after being scattered in 7 different high schools so friends did not come easily at that point in our schooling but Arlene was a "uniter". She knew and got along well with everyone. She always had that ready smile and a kind word.

I lost track of her after graduation but the memory of her is as vivid today as it was then. My deepest sympathies to all her family and friends!
