The family would like to make a special thank you to those who helped on the farm; Sam Page, Johnny Walker, Kenny Walker and Lowell Brake, all of North Garden.

He was employed for 38 years with Albemarle County as a School Bus Driver for Red Hill Elementary School. He enjoyed working on his farm and loved the land, freedom and peace of the outdoors. He took great pride in everything he would do and felt it was his duty to keep his equipment and the farm clean. He was always willing to help others and would not expect anything in return. He always had a smile on his face and said "I want to die with my boots on" and his family was his pride and love of his life.
